ABOUT THIS IMAGE: This image forms part of a photographic series which explores the vast landscapes of Botswana, one of the wildest and most untouched countries in Africa brimming over with wildlife and natural beauty. This image was taken over the Makgadikgadi Pans (meaning 'Great White Place' in the local dialects). These are the largest salt pans in the world and a place of indescribable beauty. Over the past decade we have photographed the unspoiled wildernesses, and cultural heritage of this incredibly diverse country and endeavoured not just to document scenes but to capture the poetry and the art of nature, that soft flow of space and time as it passes beneath the wings of our specially modified aircraft. PRINTS WITH PURPOSE: A percentage of the sale of any of my Artworks will be donated to an environmental or community organisation in the country in which the image was taken to contribute to the conservation of these exceptional wilderness spaces.
