I am a Chicago based visual artist using different media, including different means of photographic capture, and installations in spaces to move one articulation of art to another. My work is in private and public collections, including the Joan Flasch Artists Book Collection of the Art Institute of Chicago and the Center for Books and Paper Arts at Columbia College Chicago. Awards included selection for New American Paintings #101 Midwest Edition 2012, grants from the City of Chicago Dept. of Cultural Affairs/Illinois Arts Council, residencies at Ragdale Foundation, the Cliffdwellers Club and the Center for Books and Paper Arts of Columbia College Chicago. I have a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a BS in Materials Science from Northwetern University. My work explores identity and artifacts.
