My personal style continues to develop in areas focusing on light interplaying with figures. From this I developed the series Tortuous exploring the dark, and Dream Away focused on the light. The versatility and flexibility of my figurative work has allowed me to evolve my visual acumen and style and continues with the incorporation of CG, digital artistry, and physical skills into my workflow.
My journey began with studying acting at Carnegie Mellon and working as a broadcast journalist in Japan and Alaska in the US Navy, I relocated to San Francisco to finish a degree in cinema at San Francisco State University. I developed and managed multiple live motion production studios, and began freelance directing and cinematography for commercials and independent projects. This became the basis for my creative partnership as Ransom & Mitchell.
