"Ex machina III" Photograph - Limited Edition of 10

I am a contemporary artist, but above all, my photos are timeless. Very inspired by fantasy art, surrealistic art and abstract art since my earliest childhood, I mainly get my ideas in unusual environments, because these ones correspond the most with my taste for romanticism, fantasy and strange. I come from a family of painters and photographs, and the journey which led me to convert in 2007 to art photography, is not completely random. My meeting with works of some masters, painters as Dado, Redon, Rops, Friedrich, Ensor, some engravers as Velly, Dürer, Bresdin, or photographs as Siskind, have been necessary shocks that fed my work for years. My photos don't try to seduce. I just prefer to listen this little voice which will give me up the essential distress for the decision of a shot; the creative moment arising, as for me, only in the field. My works are, in part, reflection of my childhood dreams, tinged with enchanting or sci-fi tales.
