ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This self portrait series is titled "expression of the natural body." The aim is to normalise nudity to encourage body confidence and to dispel the sexualisation of being naked. Using lighting, to create shadows the natural curves of the female body are emphasised and framed to show how the composition of the body is an undulating landscape. Inspiration from this series from Bill Brandt, Elizabeth Walden, John Swanepoel and Carl Warner. This photo will be printed on Hahnemühle Photorag. Image size is 11"W x 16.5"H with a 1" white border (total print size 13" x 18.4"H). It will be shipped rolled, securely inside a cardboard shipping tube. Limited edition of 15.
