ABOUT THE ARTWORK
These carnivorous plants thrive only in the rare locations where water is continually moving through the soil. While surveying streams with a team of scientists in the Sierra Nevada of California, we found a field of them near our camp. It was early morning and the low angle of light made everything seem to glow. This photograph is part of a series interpreting field ecology through images and writing. Prints are limited to an edition of 30. I print them myself on Moab Exhibition Luster 300gsm acid free paper on an Epson P800 pigment printer for the highest archival durability in digital imaging. Your print will be signed and numbered on the back, and ships in a tube. Images are printed without borders. For additional sizes and pricing, please contact me.
