As a child, I remember being fascinated by the vision of motion. Sitting in the back seat of the car, head against the window, my eyes focused on a single, ever changing spot racing past, transfixed me. It was an abstract, flowing vision that had wonderful linear patterns and colors and created a mesmerizing effect.

“Flow” is a series of images that recaptures the sense of hypnotic motion I viewed as a kid in the back seat of the car. A sense that you know what you are seeing, yet you don’t. A sense of familiarity and strangeness all in the same gaze. A world of color and motion... all while my perceived state was motionless.

Flow No.22 was captured as a motion blue on one of those hot, bright, and sparkling summer days. The water is the Gulf of Mexico and the sand I was standing on was on Longboat Key, Florida. Flow No. 22 is produced in a limited edition of 10 in it's largest print size. It is printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308 with Archival Pigments. The image size is 40 inches x 40 inches with a 2" border for a final work that measures 44 inches x 44 inches and is shipped in a crush-resistant tube. Signed and numbered on the front, it also comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. The Certificate of Authenticity has a unique hologram and serial number system that is also present on the back of the Limited Edition print. Your Limited Edition print will be registered with the Hahnemühle Art Registry. You can also acquire the image in various open edition sized prints with a choice of framing or as a gallery-wrapped canvas.

The 90’s and 00’s saw he and his wife Kathy, operate their own gallery that represented the work of 150+ artists and craftspeople. Also, during this period, Marc started a firm that produces equipment for potters, sculptors, glassblowers, and metal casters.
