Genesis : pixoplasty produced from landscapes of La Plaine des Maures (Var, southern France).
Explanation about Pixoplasty : the original photographic image serves as a matrix for a study of its evocations. The scanned image, or digital, is unstructured: its original constituents, pixels, provide me a material as malleable as clay.
Working with my serendipous pixoplasty on photographs of landscapes from La Plaine des Maures (Var-France), I realized, because of the nature of the destructuration and restructuring of these, the images I got, instead of being apocalyptics, were genesis of another universe.
