Golden Hour - Limited Edition of 20 Photograph

I am forever fascinated by the light and shadows and color plays that water and the sky paint on the sand. It is never the same from one day to the next, and it only lasts seconds or a few minutes, then it is washed away forever. There is something deeply spiritual about this impermanence. I like to capture those beautiful moments with my iPhone to give them permanence and to be able to enjoy them forever. This photograph is very calming, meditative and gorgeous in its golden hues. it is reminiscent of some of the timeless old masters who painted in oil gorgeous landscapes and beach scenes. It invites to dream, feel melancholic. May be the viewer imagines sitting at the beach and watching this sunset and feeling very zen. Time stood still with this shot. I hope the viewer feels this and the mood vibrates out of the photograph into the room and into the viewers soul. I chose dye sublimation print on aluminum for a very crisp look and to accentuate the golden light with the shiny surface of aluminum.
