Golden apple - portrays a young Serbian woman, dressed in traditional clothes, dating from the 19th century, from the city of Prizren. Inspired by the Serbian traditions, culture, and old Serbian fairytales, the photographer has woven symbolic elements into this photograph. The golden apple, a symbol found in some fairy tales and old sayings, it represents a worthy and valuable person, especially women. The girl, dressed in clothing with golden details, shares the same symbolic. Golden girl becomes the golden apple - an object of desire and great value. But besides that honor, at this period of time, she had almost no rights, and her voice was silent.
