Art Description

Photography: Digital, Photo on Paper.

This new series is an inquiry into the fragility of human existence on the planet and the forces of gravity which attach us to earth but also keep us from flying high. This duality can be seen as a major existential problem of mankind: Banalities of daily life and city is designed to hide this duality from us but deep down I feel the gravity is about death. We all know that one day gravity will prevail but denial is much more comforting.

These works try to provoke us to get back to this duality by using large scale and compositions, by filling the frame with emptiness and computer generated content.

The image is printed on paper and mounted to plexiglass
