Hands up. Don't shoot! Photograph

‘Hands up, don’t shoot’ is an image depicting a hoodie floating in the abyss with the hands in the air, a common sign of submission, when facing arrest. Although this position is not a threat, it led to the shooting of Micheal Brown, in 2014 by a police officer, of which the title also comes from. The colourway of the image heavily leans on different variations of grey in a high definition style, almost hyper-realistic in its own way. The dark grey background then contrasts the hoodie and brings it to the forefront. Complimenting the detail of the hoodie itself.
