Alessio Lo Bello, nato in Sicilia nel 1980, consegue la laurea in Architettura presso l’Università IUAV di Venezia.
Durante gli studi universitari collabora con i Prof.ri Architetti Roberto Sordina e Serena Maffioletti. Collabora inoltre con lo scultore Lorenzo Burchiellaro per il quale, nel 2002, allestisce una mostra personale “Lorenzo Burchiellaro, scultura tra alchimia e metallo”.
Negli stessi anni grazie ai corsi dei fotografi Alessandra Chemollo e Fulvio Orsenigo, approfondiscel’interesse per la fotografia come mezzo espressivo ed artistico.
Nel 2008, appena completati gli studi universitari, si trasferisce a Napoli dove lavora, per quasi 3 anni, come progettista presso lo studio di architettura del prof. Francesco Venezia, uno dei maestri dell’architettura italiana.
Durante gli anni partenopei avvia una sperimentazione sulla fotografia come arte astratta: Sperimentazioni ermeneutiche, realtà invisibili – irrealtà visibili.
Nel 2011, dopo un anno trascorso a Londra, apre il proprio Studio in Sicilia.
