At , under the "Events" heading, more info and the electronic catalogue of the "Altas Soledades" project can be found. Here is the introduction of the author to it: "I captured the images for this project at the beginning of the austral autumn of 2015. Part of them are located in El Salar de Uyuni (Uyuni Salt Flats), and the rest in the Andean deserts of the Eduardo Averoa Natural Reserve, in Bolivia. Common to both areas is their desertic nature and the immense solitude I wanted to transmit. El Salar is the biggest salt flats in the world, with an area of 4,600 sq miles. It is located 11,800 ft above sea level. It is not very far from the Andean deserts, which rest at about 16,000 ft high. Images of a classical character are to be found in this work along some others with a more modern accent, in which abstraction and geometric patterns are relevant. I have intended for all of them to contain high degrees of plasticity and chromaticity. I pursue talking about solitude. By having it framed within beauty I intend to provoke bitter-sweet thoughts and feelings with a certain degree of complexity. Bilbao, June 2016"
