ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Inspired by the still curtain of fog that gives Southern California it's June gloom. The Inceville series captures the quiet of swimming and surfing in the ocean with the fog as a child. Since returning to live in my home town I see a bold opposition from the idealized notions of loud saturated color most attributed to Southern California coastline.
