Itsukushima Shrine Torii | Homage à Nicolas Bouvier - Limited Edition of 3 Photograph

Marcel Proust This photograph in classical black-and-white shows a famous spot on Japanese Island Kyushu near Hiroshima. This picture of the "Itsukushima Shrine Torii" is a homage to the work of Swiss writer, traveler and photographer Nicolas Bouvier. It was first shown in a actual solo show during autumn 2020 and published in my most recent photo-art-book. Without being one of those globetrotters who regularly set out to conquer other places and continents, my work often deals with travel and tourism.
