Born in Kharkiv, Ukraine in 1975. Now based in Poland. I started photographing in my late 30s on the streets of the city where I was born. Street photography has become my passion and strategy for in-depth acquaintance with my native city and its inhabitants. In 2006-2017, I created a unique photo archive of the city of Kharkiv. It was a period of active creative life, with exhibitions and photo festivals in Ukraine, Germany, Great Britain, the USA and Poland. I started as a digital photographer, but after trying analog photography, I couldn't give it up. Working with old photo materials that have already lost some of their properties gives a unique effect. I use my own photo printing technology with a sponge dipped in developer, which provides even more surprises. That is why many analog artifacts appear on my prints. I am opening the sale of my Kharkiv with the aim of donating to Kharkiv volunteers, among whom there are many creative personalities I know. I transfer fifty percent of each transaction to the purchase of drones, cars, thermal imagers, sights and other tools to bring Ukraine closer to victory. Thank you to everyone who supports Ukraine, regardless of how this support is implemented!
