Living and working in Langen, close to Frankfurt/M., I spent my childhood and youth in Bamberg. This medieval town, Franconian Rome and World Heritage is certainly one of the most beautiful cities in Germany. This artwork shows Little Venice in Bamberg. This collection of medieval houses are located directly at the river Regnitz. In former times they were mainly inhabited by fishermen. For this abstracted photography I applied statistical techniques to come up with an image in the style of Andy Warhol's famous portraits. The artwork is available as fine art print (paper format 70 x 50 cm, print format 60 x 40 cm) on Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308g/m2 in a Limited Edition of 25 pieces (Hahnenmühle Certificate of Authenticity) and will be signed by the artist.
