Producer, Director, Writer, Editor, Actor, Photographer, Cinematographer and Colorist. My mission is to create a body of work that will stand the test of time. I am a self taught, creative, enthusiastic professional filmmaker/photographer. After working on "Straight Out of Brooklyn" in 1989, I went on to make my first feature film, "Gotta Be A Better Way (1991-1994).” The film was a finalist for the Gordon Parks Film Awards for the Best Director. The film was shown at Clark Atlanta University and at the Mayfair Theatre, in Ottawa, Canada. I also worked as a special event photographer for IFP (The Independent Filmmaker Project,) photographing Spike Lee, Ed Burns, and Martin Scorsese just to name a few. My other works are, "The Poets (2000-2001)," "What's Going On (2001)," "Reparation Now (2002)," "Unsung Heroes (2007)," "To Dance In Paradise (2008)," and photo book "Eye on the Scene (2006),” "Japan (2012).” One of the photos I shot in Japan was published in “Colours of Asia (2013).” My next film, "The Girl From Harajuku (2015)" was filmed in Tokyo, Japan and Oahu, HI. A photo book, “The Girl From Harajuku” is in the process of publishing. The next film, “Black Money” is going into the production in 2015.
