Gianmaria D'Andrea (Giandanix) was born in Trieste in 1971, now he lives and works in Rome. Photographer and author creative as regards painting, you define a lover of pure instinctive creativity: he prefers the use of drip, fast technique used in the past by artists including J. Pollock. In the will of the artist there is a continuous search of emotions as positive relationship between work and viewer, and the creation of images to represent the constituent power of our planet and living beings. Quoted by the press is present in yearbooks of modern and contemporary art. In 2007, formalizes the technique of "mix-pouring" (evolution of heavy water nuclear painters of the '50s) as the best procedure useful to represent phenomena such as globalization and the physical and chemical changes of matter. His works are in private collections, galleries, collections and museums in Italy, the United States, Mexico and Vatican City. He's member of International Academy of Modern Art. Once a year the donor of a work in hospitals and charities. In 2008 his work was donated to Dr. Patch Adams Gesundheit Institute (USA). In 2009 his work was donated to the Holy Father Benedict XVI. In 2010 he founded the new painting movement "RIEVOLUZIONISMO". Gianmaria D'Andrea aka "Giandanix" is probably defined in the context of contemporary art of the third millennium with two terms rarely used today: purity and brilliance. In a world that continues to turn on itself as fast as ever, but where the man began to run on it with increasingly higher speed and where stereotypes and consumerism pervade everywhere now "globalized" is increasingly difficult to find art forms as well, and not alienated from what the superficial mass media continues to spread with the sole purpose of invading the minds to speculate everywhere. The painting of him is absolute and direct expression of purely symbolic enormous importance and vitality of life and wants to reach the hearts of those who, certainly few, have full awareness of themselves as to be impermeable to contexts futile and consumerist contemporary. A universal language of immediate visual impact to be understandable to anyone in the world.Primary colors often bright and clear contrasts with the case should convey energy and strength, or harmonic combinations and almost monochromatic in tone with slight alterations to convey serenity and calm, kindly invite the viewer to an introspective reflection.
