https://www.july-space.com/ July Space is a Berlin-based artist who explores intimacy and love, either through photography or performance. Born and raised in a progressive rock’n’roll family from Belarus, July’s first artistic influences stem from art house movies and shock rock musicians who inspired her to live life an artist. This sparked and forged her unique perception on reality versus fantasy. July started her artistic expression through music, drawing and painting, with mediums ranging from piano to pencils or oil paint, to then evolve into graphic design and CG/Vector illustration. Photography was always part of it all, but it was after moving to Berlin that July fully committed herself to it. In a way, it was photography that made her move to this vibrant metropole, following her own Berlin calling. The world of July Space is composed of cinematic moments which cease to be ephemeral through her frames. Her work currently portrays the synergy between authenticity and eccentricity, embracing various musicians, sex-positive and fashion avant-garde personas. Addressing themes such as self-exploration or dark spirituality, her aesthetics are an invitation to explore and seize the creative and underground beauty.
