Bread feeds the body, indeed, but flowers feed also the soul. ~The Koran Sculpting with studio light unveils another quality of the lily... I fell in love with orchids only when I started to explore them with my Camera and lighting. It was winter and my birthday and the only interesting available flowers were Lillies and orchids. So I spent all my money on these and locked myself happily up in the studio. Limited edition of 10. All prints are professionally manufactured under my supervision by an established fine art printer with 34 years experience; mounted behind high quality acrylic glass, ready to hang, signed and numbered, with certificate od authenticity. Child For my flower photography I need a certain light and a certain mood. It is as if the picture comes to me - flowers can't be chased... Almost all my flower photography is taken solely in sunlight. I spend quite a long time with one flower and sometimes in a certain moment she lets me in - this is the picture. Unlike humans flowers have no inside or outside - a fully open flower exhales all her inside.To me it feels as if the scent of the flower appears in the picture. Or the scent of the moment and the scent of the sun. As Claude Monet said: “I must have flowers, always, and always.”
