We met over a brief coffee interaction in a crowded market, and I noticed his intense interest in my camera. I asked him if he would like a picture, and with his eyes he smiled, got up, walked to an open background and gave me this beautiful expression. Having been a man that had worked the streets of Varanasi for over 40 years, he has an immense hardness to him, but a soft kindness in his eyes. When he shook hands, they were rough and worn; yet giving and organic. Its printed on an incredibly high quality gloss Inkjet paper and framed in a beautiful hermetically sealed with art glass (no reflection) and a black and aged-looking low profile frame.
