Live Cinema! The Sleepwalker - Limited Edition of 10 Photograph

Limited edition of 10. As the somnambulist in The Sleepwalker, my eyes are closed though it is broad daylight and my bare feet trace through landscapes connected across three channels of cinema. I strike invisible walls and open one illusory door after the next, showing how obstacles are created out of thin air to keep us from going where we want to go. Sometimes the sleepwalker erects the wall herself as when a young bull in pasture stops short when he recognizes the mimetic barrier. This photo captures this exact moment in my performance.
