I love the trees of Biei. There are so many iconic of them in the area that flocks of tourist fly in from all over the world just to take pictures. But my favorite thing to do in Winter Biei is to discover trees that no one else ever photographed before. Of course I cannot be sure, but I believe no other photographer ever found this beautiful little tree and photographed it. It’s so simple, and the snow and dramatic sky complement it perfectly. It might be an anonymous and boring subject normally, but when the Winter comes it turns into a beauty. The original is printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Satin 310 gsm 100% Cotton white satin-finish paper and manually signed.
