Inspired by the rhythmic pattern of the facade, I photographed it at a moment at which there was a balance between the diminishing daylight and illuminated windows early in the evening. I love the rhythmic interplay between the windows, screens and brick structures. – This limited edition work of art comes with a slim, elegant frame and a hand-signed certificate of authenticity. The material is coated Aluminum. Through patented Chromaluxe dye-sublimation the photographic print is transferred into the coating and the result is a breathtaking work of art with marvelous depth of color, luminosity and details.

Paul Brouns (1967) is a photographing artist based in The Netherlands. In 1990 he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Tilburg specialising in photography, painting and drawing. Since the development of digital photography his camera and computer have become his main tools for creation. Observing the urban world, he is attracted by the abstract, rhythmic poetry of buildings. Available in limited editions, his work has been exhibited worldwide and sold to collectors, ranging from Tokyo, Seoul and New Delhi, to New York, London and Amsterdam. In 2022 his work is being exhibited at Palazzo Bembo in Venice during the Art Biennale. Through his photographic compositions the artist successfully inspires and touches people’s souls.
