Made from a Solstice Sky is a series of five images comprised of digital and composite imagery and featured exclusively on Saatchi Art for Saatchi Art Collectors and Curators.This series was made on June 21, 2020 during the summer solstice and one of the most intense eclipse seasons many of us have ever experienced. Creating work always centers me, but especially when the cosmic energy intensifies, as with eclipse windows and especially in the current energetic climate of 2020. The sunset on this year's solstice was distinctly stunning in Texas, so I decided to capture the feel of it by stepping into my own back yard and then twisting, pulling, moving, and blurring the color of the sky with the camera - all movements that simultaneously helped to release pent up energy from my body as well. Made from a Solstice Sky IV it the softest of the series and used in three other composite images from Solstice Sky. *Please note* Prints are produced on demand.
