About The Artwork

The moon rises over this vast, surreal desert landscape as the last of the glowing golden sun washes over the beautiful desert mountain formations. This photograph of a desert landscape was taken during my honeymoon road trip across the Southwest of the United States. Two weeks were spent exploring Arizona, Utah, and New Mexico, sleeping in a camper van on dispersed camping BLM/public land. Captured out of the van's window while we were driving through, I hope these photographs will inspire viewers to think deeply about the fleeting but immensely beautiful, ordinary moments in life. Archival pigment print on Epson Cold Press Bright textured, matte fine art paper. Comes signed and numbered by the artist with a 1" white border for framing.

Francesca Dolnier is a photographer known for her prints of all things travel and adventure. As an artist, her mission is to capture the beauty and wonder that she finds everyday in the places and things that surround her and share it with the world. Dolnier's work has taken her from race tracks around the world to the Arctic Circle to New Zealand and lots of places in between. Before working as a photographer, she studied Art History at UT Austin and worked at MoMA in New York City. While working in the corporate art world, she constantly craved more creativity and spontaneity, so she left to start her own fine art photography business. She is partially self-taught and partially taught by her father, who is also a commercial and fine art photographer. Her goal as a photographer is to transport people with her images and offer contemplative scenes for people to reflect on the beauty of life's ordinary moments.
