I was born in Italy, I live near the wonderful Lake Como. I consider myself very lucky to live in this area, so rich in nature, quiet and beauty. With photography I am a self-taught, it has been a passion of mine for decades, which I have been able to perfect by joining a photo club (centrofotografico Gianni Anghileri Valmadrera). I learned a lot from more experienced photographers. I love art very much and have been educated to the sense of beauty since I was a child, when I secretly leafed through the precious art books of my father, a painter of beautiful watercolors and wax crayons art. So I was certainly influenced by the lights of Caravaggio, by the visions of Dalì and by the landscapes of the Impressionists. By refining the technique over time, I was able to move more and more with my creativity, experimenting with new techniques. I like details, still life, landscapes, HDR and I love playing with lights and shadows. I create compositions and I like to experiment between blur and panning. My desire is to bring out the extraordinary from the ordinary. I have this gift of seeing magic in everything. Through my shots I want to communicate an inner speech made of silences, visions and feelings.. My creative work crystallizes the emotions that I want to convey to the observer. I have experimented with various materials to print my works: forex for large panels, canvas and plexiglass with its magical transparencies. At the moment I’m working with a Canon EOS 6D and a Canon EOS 1100D. Photographing is not something I do, it is something I am.
