"Mediterranean Harbor" Photograph - Limited Edition of 25

Maciej and Barbara are an award-winning duo of photographers, visual artists, and travelers. Born and raised in Poland, they hold Master’s degrees in Art and Science, respectively, and have been living in southern Germany for the last 25 years.

As documentary, travel, and fine art photographers, they have explored over 60 countries and 16 US states. For over two decades, they have been photographing the world's diverse facets, ranging from bustling megacities to the most remote corners of the globe. They also specialize in aerial photography. Maciej, a private pilot, initially shot solo as a photojournalist for magazines. After Barbara joined him, the duo captures from above together, also using drones for some projects. Their work often blurs the line between documentary reality and fine-art abstraction.

Barbara and Maciej’s work has been recognized internationally, earning prestigious awards. In 2023, they were named Professional Nature Photographer of the Year at the International Photography Awards (IPA), celebrated at the famous Carnegie Hall in New York City. Their photographs have also been awarded in multiple editions of the IPA, Prix de la Photographie Paris, TIFA Tokyo, Siena Awards, ND Awards, and exhibited in the US, France, Japan, Italy, Greece, Hungary, China, and Germany.

Their editorial photos have been published in Cosmopolitan, Vogue, Forbes, The Times, The Guardian, National Geographic, Condé Nast Traveler, Lonely Planet, Architectural Digest and many others. The duo’s images have also appeared on the covers of jazz, pop, and classical music albums released in the US and the UK, as well as on book covers of numerous acclaimed writers, including a Nobel Prize winner. Their work is held in private and corporate collections across the US, Canada, and Europe.
