The tree of life is a representative craft of the municipality of Metepec in the State of Mexico. Artisan work whose origin and purpose is the evangelization and transmission of knowledge of biblical passages. This piece is part of the ethnographic collection that is exhibited in the permanent exhibition of Indian Peoples at the National Museum of Anthropology.
