Joanna Lentini is an award-winning photographer, writer and filmmaker based in rural New York. Like most kids who grew up in the 80's, Joanna spent the better part of her childhood outside. Whether she was scaling the maple tree in her front yard, barefoot, and with limited supplies, or navigating her way through the adjacent tree-lined yards—she spent hours on end exploring. Each day, as the sunlight waned and the lightning bugs emerged, a solemn feeling took hold as she was summoned inside. Joanna's personal connection with the natural world has always been a place where curiosity and fear intersect. For the last decade, Joanna has been working to inspire others to spend more time in the outdoors. She promotes her lifelong fascination with the natural world through her dynamic imagery and storytelling. Joanna's photography has been internationally awarded and exhibited around the world.
