Based in Tadcaster, North Yorkshire, Giles Rocholl has worked as a professional photographer for 37 years. He started his career in 1980 at the age of 16 as a trainee photojournalist with the Ackrill Newspaper Group, Harrogate. He went on to work for the York Evening Press, Yorkshire Post and Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds. From 1996 to 1999 he was Picture Editor for the Lancashire Evening Post and latterly the Yorkshire Post before going freelance in 1999. Giles has been closely involved in the digital photography revolution since 1991 and its take up by the industry. He has worked for international, national and regional customers and currently includes Yorkshire’s top, banks, accountants and law firms among his clients. As well as Art and Landscape photography Giles also regularly produces Public Relations and Architectural photography.
