My career began in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, coming out of a background of theatre, performance and installation art, where I worked with such luminaries as and Robert Wilson, Meredith Monk, Richard Foreman, Robert Frank, and Vito Acconci. I was an early member of Collaborative Projects, a collective formed in downtown New York City in the late 70s and early 80s and I performed in a multi-media partnership, Erotic Psyche, a film and music extravaganza exploring the body and the senses, which toured extensively in Manhattan and Europe throughout the 80s.
New photographic works from The Deep Roots Series (2013-2015) and By the Waterfront (2013) were recently included in the exhibit “Age of Wonder” shown at the Turtle Bay Museum in Redding, CA, as well as Intersection and Swarm Gallery in the Bay area. Recent prints on metal and duratrans light boxes were included in the China Brotsky Gallery at the Thoreau Center in San Francisco, The Pico House in LA, and James Fuentes Gallery in New York, and Groundspace and Area1 in Santa Monica. Upcoming solo shows in Los Angeles include a solo shows at Hale Gallery and the Fine Arts Building.
