About The Artwork

Made this shot among hundreds of shots I made on the Shelby Street Bridge and loved the blurred effect, which was sort of zombies headed to meet the Batman Building . . . Loved the fact everyone was walking toward Nashville, especially the colorfulness of the shot. I actually just printed this -- and, the blurred Nashville Riverfront shot -- from my own home and I tell you they make for really wonderful prints, especially with the size and scale of them. Offered as a Limited Edition print, numbered and signed, on Hahnemuhle Fine Art Pearl. Size is 32.7 x 16, 34.3 x 17.6 with borders . . .

I'm a national award-winning journalist and nine-time Pulitzer nominee who's made hundreds of TV and radio appearances, including NPR and Good Morning America. Author of Swee'pea [Simon & Schuster / Atria], a critically acclaimed book centered around New York City playground basketball legend Lloyd (Swee'pea) Daniels, I've been featured in several documentary films -- including the Emmy Award-winning ESPN 30-for-30 Big Shot. While I've worked primarily as a sports reporter, news reporter, columnist and investigative journalist, I've also done travel writing and photography during a four-decade career at a major New York daily paper, and I'm currently shopping my first novel. This marks my first foray into selling my fine art photography . . . P.S. I've noticed that when it comes to calling up full screen versions of some photos they appear to lack clarity. PLEASE use the "Original" file -- especially, when you're looking at Open Edition prints -- because those files appear to be proper large-scale renditions. Hoping this gets rectified . . .
