Born in 1987, Peruvian photographer and conceptual artist, Anibal Tafur, furthered his passion for ART by studying at the School of Creative Photography Andy Goldstein in Buenos Aires, Argentina; as well as delving into fashion photography at the Fotodesign School in Buenos Aires.
At the age of twenty-three, seeking adventure and experience he moved to Sweden and traveled extensively throughout Europe. During his travels he worked for different media outlets, capturing the essence of the rave and indie-rock music scenes of Gothenburg/ Stockholm; as well as the local cultures and sartorial styles of the European youth in the cities of Berlin, Paris, Vienna, Copenhagen, Barcelona and Rome.
Anibal currently resides in his home city of Lima, Peru. He credits Lima, a city that has inspired him since childhood, as the inspiration for his trademark concepts and the very soul of his photographic designs.
While Anibal generally focuses on more alternative expressions of nude photography, his abilities are quite extensive as is evident in his portfolio. Whether for work or leisure, Anibal is very passionate about photography and considers his camera an extension of his self.
