Tommy Lei is a Los Angeles-based visual artist and fine art photographer. His photographic practice explores liminal space, diasporic memory, and the emotional conditions of stillness — informed by Buddhist contemplative philosophy and the Taoist principle of wu wei. Public and civic commissions include work for JP Morgan and LA County Civic Arts. His photographs have been exhibited at Art Basel Miami Beach, the Pasadena Museum of History, and the Zingst Photo Festival, and are held in private collections across the United States, France, South Korea, and the United Kingdom. He is a Cornell University graduate and Canson Infinity Ambassador.
