Juan C. Mancheno’s extensive travels have been his canvas, allowing him to journey to the outermost reaches of all 7 continents on this magnificent planet, which was a lifelong dream of his to accomplish. Throughout these adventures, though he never had any “artistic” talent with the paint and brushes, he always had a very strong desire to tap into his creative side, and many years ago realized that he could express his creative talents through the lens of the camera. His passion and love for the art of photography grew over the years, and his unique expressive talents have blossomed and grown into a truly unique style and form of expression, reflective of his personality. The main focus of Mancheno's work is in the Black and White medium, along the Big Sur Coastline, where he spends most of his time capturing timeless Landscapes, Oceanscapes, and Cloudscapes. Mr. Mancheno’s photography is a tribute to the wonder and beauty of this great planet, and each photograph represents his unique interpretation of life as an art form.
