Pappy's Parking at Night in Blue Photograph - Limited Edition of 100

Pioneertown's Pappy & Harriet's is one of my favorite places on earth. Their storied history dates back to the 40s, and this parking sign has lit the way to this oasis for the biggest names in popular culture and random bikers as well. It is a place that just feels special. And then you look up... just epic. I hope folks will get a sense of desolation and hope, the notion that the stories of our tiny planets really add up over time. I printed this on sheet metal bc of the way it picks up the light. On this particular night, the Perseid Meteor Showers were happening, so the open shutter allowed for a few shooting stars to sneak through...
