Barbara and Maciej are a husband and wife duo of award-winning photographers, visual artists and travelers. Recognized as International Professional Photographers of the Year, Nature, at the IPA 2023 in New York, they have also won numerous medals, and honorable mentions in various editions of the International Photography Awards, Prix de la Photographie Paris, Tokyo International Foto Awards, ND Awards, Siena Awards, Lucie Awards and others. Barbara and Maciej's editorial photos have been published in Cosmopolitan, Vogue, Forbes, The Times, The Guardian, National Geographic, Conde Nast Traveler, Lonely Planet, Architectural Digest etc. Their works have been exhibited in New York, Tokyo, Paris, Athens, Budapest, Siena, Stuttgart, Shenzhen. Barbara and Maciej are also the authors of cover photos of books by famous writers like Zoe Valdes, Pierre Lemaitre, Jeffrey Archer, Isaac Asimov or awarded with a Nobel Prize "Os Vagantes" by Olga Tokarczuk. Born, grew up and graduated from universities in Poland. Currently based in southern Germany for 25 years. They have a long experience in aerial photography. The view of the Earth from above has always fascinated them. Already at the age of 17, Maciej took his camera on almost every flight when he started flying gliders, then sport planes in Poland and later in Germany. They photograph most often from drones and planes. Their other photographic interests are broad ranging. As documentary and travel photographers they visited over 60 countries and 16 states in the USA. Barbara and Maciej are heavily influenced by America with its unique aesthetics. They have been working for Getty Images photo agency for many years. The artworks of Barbara and Maciej are in private and corporate collections in the USA, Canada and Europe.
