Contact us.Ernesto Navarro Jaimes is a Colombian photographer and visual artist whose work explores memory, identity, and the cinematic quality of everyday life. His images blur the line between documentary and fiction, creating intimate visual narratives grounded in observation and atmosphere.
His photographic work has been exhibited in Germany, France, Italy, and Poland, and his commissioned projects have appeared in international publications including Wired Magazine USA. Early in his career, he worked as Artistic Director for renowned Colombian photographer Ruven Afanador, an experience that shaped his refined visual language.
Navarro Jaimes’ current work focuses on impermanence and the human condition. Influenced by the philosophy of Martin Heidegger and the notion of Being-in-the-world, his photographs seek to inhabit fleeting moments, revealing subtle gestures of presence, fragility, and time.
