VIEW IN MY ROOM
Persistence Absurdity is celebrated in this homage to Dorothea Tanning’s Hôtel du Pavot, Chambre 202. The domestic room is reconfigured to create a sense of comfort, the banal qualities suggest normality whilst perception is challenged to throw the viewer off into a surreal world. The body weaves through the environment, both testing the obstacles and adapting to the changes. Archival pigment print of 120mm colour film | 2017
