This image was made for my project 365 days of self-portrait. The girl is dreaming that she is the queen of all seas and had the power to create storms and waves and give trouble to the boats that are sailing through the sea. My name is Anja Matko. I'm a fine art photographer from Ljubljana, Slovenia. My images are creative and the stories I'm presenting have a dark and surreal theme. Inspiration for my work I get from my favourite stories, movies, life situations, feelings and emotions. Creating self-portraits became some run from reality for me, where I can transfer my frustrations, ideas and thoughts into new stories.
