Born in Montreal and currently live in Montreal, Canada. Fascinated by light, my beginnings in photography go back to the age of 15-16 years old where I buy my first 35 mm camera and experiment the Zone System and Cibachrome. Built in the basement of my parent's house, my first darkroom. I develop 4x5 and 8x10 plates, black and white C41, E6 process with nitrogen gas agitation, I regenerate the chemistry and control the color quality via densitometry. A few years later I created my first photo studio and enrolled me at the college in photography. Later I started the advertising photo, using 8x10 cameras and films, slides, negative color, negative black and white large format. I also check the color quality and print black and white with enlarger 8x10 and I use light painting, avangardist approach at that time. Beginning in the 2000s, I started the construction of my house and my new studio will be part of it. Woodworking, metal work and other handicrafts will be part of my daily life. I then leave the darkroom for digital photography. I would say now that my artistic approach is inspired unconsciously by what has shaped my life, therefore, to say; architecture, aestheticism, symmetry and harmony. Aside from the work in the studio, I am constantly looking for pictorial exteriors, under an acute observation, allowing me to perceive certain details that the majority do not perceive. Currently I retouch my own photos and print on a large format printer at home. I have a strong interest in panoramic photography and I will soon use pizzography; Black and White printing.
