ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Ivo Andrić was a Yugoslav novelist, poet and short story writer who won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1961. His travelogue "Portugal, the Green Country" was published in 1931. I found out that he was right on my first flight in a small light aircraft over the northeastern part of this beautiful country. Later I realized that Portugal is a country with many different colors.
