Nature is my muse. Exploring all types of environments inspires me to collect the found objects of stone and heavily textured weathered wood for my compositions. Many years ago I did a past life regression session that took me way back to neolithic times. I came face to face with myself in a previous life, as a Neanderthal. I found that even then I had a fascination with ornamental stones and wood. That experience set me on a course of creating this series of Sticks & Stone studies. My hope is that the viewer allows themselves to experience a Zen like meditative state much like what I experienced while creating these images.
