About the Artist

Nicholas Rogers

United States

My name is Nicholas, but you can call me Nick...or Nickle Pickle (that's what my parents used to call me)...or just Nicholas. :-) The choice is yours!

I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, but currently live in Chardon, OH (45 minutes outside of Cleveland). From photography to puppeteering to cruise ship singing, I've been involved in the arts for a long time. Even though I've settled on photography as a career, I still call on past artistic experiences for both inspiration and guidance.

Sports photography gives me a thrill like no other, but events, headshots, and nature all intrigue me in their own special way...especially nature photography. As our ecosystem decays, it becomes harder and harder to find plants and animals in their "natural state," so I try to look at the situation as "glass half full" by staying grateful for for the increasingly-rare opportunities to photograph the beauty still existing amidst the chaos and toxicity of modern society.

As I say in the "About" section on my website -- -- I enjoy capturing moments in time, and I sincerely hope you enjoy those moments.
