A walk in Rome, one morning in Eur with my wooden camera. Office, business and financial district of the capital. Squared buildings, architecture with a classic soul with an elegant and monumental fascist imprint. Wide avenues, crossed by businessmen in suits in a hurry, but, even if, it was before the restrictions, the pinhole camera already erased all the people enhancing the landscape.This is a small series of 13x18 Cyanotypes printed on Fabriano Artistico in March2020

Pierclaudio Duranti was born at Terni in Umbria, Italy in 1971, where he studies and discovers his passion for photography. He always felt attracted by analogous photography in huge formats and pinhole (stenopeic) photography and extensively experiments with “slow photography”, a kind of manifest against the frenetic consumption of digital pictures and for the re-appropriation of time to create images. Italian non professional photographer based in Umbria, in the center of Italy.
