This photo is printed on canvas and framed with a handcrafted frame. It is part of the “DOG.E” collection I created during 2020. I photographed my whippet Rubelia wearing several beautiful accessories created by CocCami & Miranda. My idea is to portray the dog in the style of the classic 16th century portrait that I love so much. In the portraits of this period I am particularly attracted to the faces (the look you try to "decipher") and all the almost tangible details of the clothes and jewels people wear. So in the photos of this collection I tried to capture the particular gaze of the dog, but I also choose to make her wear some beautiful accessories (which are not the usual collars and coats for dogs) to remember the beauty of Italian craftsmanship has been there for centuries. marvel at his creativity and formidable manual skills.

Photographer specialized in dog & portrait photography. I was born in 1970 in Belarus. The best thing my country of origin has given me is music education. I studied in the Minsk conservatory as a pianist up to 24 years and even if I worked little as a musician; music is a very important part of my life. In 1995 I moved to Kiev (Ukraine). Here I started studying photography in the Fotomaster school of one of the most important Ukrainian photographers: Alex Abramov. I also studied under a great portrait photographer: Leonid Levit. In 2006 I got married and moved to Ravenna where I live with my husband Giovanni and our 4 adorable dogs Horowitz, Opalino, Rubelia and Soldino. Among my clients there are several Italian breeders and cynophilists, but also from Switzerland, Belgium, Austria, France, Germany, Finland, Russia. My husband, dog educator and ethology's studious, author of 3 books, helps me in my work. I collaborate with the artisans Camilla Coccari and Simona Morgagni in the creation of the bijoux and accessories of the "Estro Armonico" collection with images of dogs. Together with them I manage the laboratory and show room (where my small Photo Atelier is also located) in the historic center of Ravenna.
