About The Artwork

Poetry, phantasmagoria, objects, landscapes and time are transformed, distorted, become something other than what they are in the imagination thanks to the simplest photographic means, the pinhole. In the simplicity of a raw image, printed on a photo paper, contrasted, where black rubs shoulders with white, sometimes opposes it, confronts it, the subjects speak to us differently and sometimes refer us to ourselves, to the idea we have of these things, to our dreams. It is a meeting between time and image with the 3 essential parameters of photography: a sensitivity (0.5 iso), a fixed shutter (about 160) and an exposure time based on light (only parameter changing and sometimes exceeding 12 hours).
